Find industrial heat loads worth a closer look.
Explore reported combustion emissions, estimate addressable thermal load, and stress-test the economics of heat electrification and flexible demand—facility by facility.
What this tool does
It brings several public records together, interprets what they may mean, and adds a first-pass estimate. Use it to decide which facilities deserve a closer look—not as a final engineering or investment answer.
What has been reported
EPA and CARB records provide the facility, emissions, equipment, fuels, inventory processes, and air activity. District and CEC records add permit and funded-project dates.
What the equipment may be doing
Reported GHGRP and NEI/CARB names are screened for likely process heat, power generation, pollution control, site utilities, or cases that still need review.
What electrification could look like
Matched Stanford 2022 process-heat estimates supply heat quantity and temperature distributions. An EPA 2023 gas-equivalent proxy covers unmatched sites. Editable assumptions translate heat into electric demand, flexibility, and a gas-reference energy-cost comparison.
What is nearby on the power system
Public territory, tariff, exact-node day-ahead and real-time prices, and nearby utility Load ICA lines provide local context. The service feeder, billed tariff, and usable capacity still require utility confirmation.
Confirm the equipment, operating temperatures, energy bills, permit documents, and electrical capacity with the facility. Public records do not reveal all of these details.
